Stronger than Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle : the hermit Amadour attracted pilgrims since the 12th century.
Today is the Black Virgin of Our Lady of Rocamadour that we come to pray at shrines. Believer or not, the visit is a must. Do it like the pilgrims: Follow the path Holy Couronnerie of the street, lined with medieval houses and fortified gates.
Sarlat, a city of art and history confirms its high architectural quality.
Sarlat is also known for its higher density and classified historical monuments. Its medieval streets and sunny squares large, particularly lively on market days, provide a living environment more pleasant.
Padirac is a monumental entrance of natural cavity, located in Lot, measuring 35 meters in diameter, beneath which, at 103 meters deep, flows an underground river that runs through part of a large network of over 40 km of development.
At the heart of the Dordogne Valley, halfway between Rocamadour and Sarlat, near many caves, castles, museums and the "most beautiful villages in France", city of contrasts, between the river and old stone.
About 10 kilometers south of Sarlat, Domme, perched on a cliff dizzying allows him to enjoy an exceptional view over the valley of the Dordogne.
This country house with golden stones marries successful architectural, natural and gastronomic Périgord Black.
